The conference is being planned as an in-person event with a virtual component. Selected presenters will be notified by September 12, 2022. If you are interested in this opportunity, review the presentation guidelines and requirements and submit your proposal for consideration by August 30, 2022. Selected presenters will have the opportunity to share their expertise with Tribal, state, local, and federal personnel responsible for meeting the needs of victims of crime in American Indian and Alaska Native communities.

OVC is seeking subject matter experts to present at the 17th National Indian Nations Conference. This conference will focus on the unique needs of American Indian and Alaska Native crime victims and provide training for victim service providers law enforcement officials prosecutors judges medical and mental health professionals social workers and victim advocates at the Tribal, federal, state, and local levels. The conference is scheduled for December 6–9, 2022, at the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Reservation in Palm Springs, California.
